This crystal formation is found on top of mountain near the [[Hieromancer's Halls]] in the Direlands. It cannot be reached by foot and is only accessible via a Humming Crystal Portal, which randomly spawns in the wild's of northern and southern Osteth. There are two exit portals on the top of the mountain, both of which deposit you at 4.5S 81.2W near the base of the Mountain. Using the crystal yields results in the following message:

If you use a [[Glittering Crystalline Key]] on the Strange Humming Crystal you will obtain a portal gem, the [[Lyceum Recall Gem]].

This portal gem will teleport the user (it does <font color = red>NOT</font> summon a portal for multiple people) to the [[Lyceum]], which is located on top of another inaccessible mountain east of the town of Kara. The Lyceum is where mages can obtain their armor.
