Do you think it might work better if the left and right wings were clipped off the image :Image:Archive Turbine 2008 center image.png and it was just the AC badge in the middle and keep it centered? Since our text area is a subsection of the page instead of having the image span the whole page like at the original site. That's what I did with the 2003 image, clipped it as narrow as I could in order to keep it from bleeding off the page too often. I uploaded a possible sample here.--Tlosk 11:53, 10 May 2009 (CDT)
Hey thanks for the message. I apologize for not reviewing the updated content policy beforehand. I should have known something was up when I encountered something out of the ordinary.

As someone who contributed to acpedia before the end of retail, it is hard to use the wiki without wanting to make updates.  The wiki was obviously far from perfect at the end of retail, and there is a lot I would like to add to and/or clean up when playing the game, but I also understand its role as a "artifact" of the state of the game at the end.

The naming of the title screenshots is going to make it harder to make changesHow about naming them Titles/<server>/<character>.jpg, and then we don't need to reupload the others when the order changes? For example, . --Widgeon 06:50, 3 April 2009 (CDT)
I sent you a friend invite over on Discord using my account there (Flying Ragnar)I've messaged with ImmortalBob there a few times. Well, I've been tasked by Fandom to fix things up if you would just like me to go ahead and do it. But if you'd prefer to try to fix things yourself, there is actually a guide that was recently created, available at https://community.fandom.com/wiki/Help:FandomDesktop_conversion_guide ProfessorTofty (talk) 22:50, 8 September 2021 (UTC)
Thanks, I'm done for now, I finished a full backup last night and was cleaning up some case duplicates that aren't used.--Tlosk 14:40, 19 March 2009 (CDT)
:Yes, I would be glad to fix up the issue you mentioned and anything else related to the theme that I come across. It should be finished by sometime this Sunday at the latest, unless I come across anything that would delay me. I'll keep you posted. Gotcha. I remember when they came out, just haven't done the new summoning quest (aside from when it was a live event), so I wasn't sure.  Thanks! --Atarax 14:49, 6 March 2009 (CST)

I'm using a program based upon David Simpson's code available at http://www.ugcs.caltech.edu/~dsimpson/.  I started working on it a few months ago, but got distracted.  With the current exploration stuff, I decided to look at it again.  It's still very much a work in progress -- for example, I just figured out which types of terrain are snow covered right now so that I could generate the snowy map.

Here are some sample maps.  All data is fresh from this patch, and it should be nearly complete.  The big ones probably are transparent where I don't have current data.

This runs on Mac OS X -- if you have a Mac, I can give you the program. --Widgeon 12:17, 26 February 2009 (CST)

Re: Hidden Dungeon

Hey thanks for the message. I apologize for not reviewing the updated content policy beforehand. I should have known something was up when I encountered something out of the ordinary.

As someone who contributed to acpedia before the end of retail, it is hard to use the wiki without wanting to make updates. The wiki was obviously far from perfect at the end of retail, and there is a lot I would like to add to and/or clean up when playing the game, but I also understand its role as a "artifact" of the state of the game at the end.

I sent you a friend invite over on Discord using my account there (Flying Ragnar). I've messaged with ImmortalBob there a few times. Thanks again for the work you have done over years on the wiki(s) and for maintaining the many data dumps. Maybe someday a better option for preserving the old while updating for new will come up.
