Quest Overview

Walk Through

  1. Talk to Fahneph behind the Neftet Encampment tent to start the quest.
  2. Then head to 19.4S, 6.7E to the Foundry of Izexi. The drop is safe.
  3. The dungeon is a maze of rooms which have Ensorcelled Weapons, Ghost A'nekshay, and Tainted Dust Golems. Find your way through by clearing one room at a time.
  4. [Optional] There are locked doors which can be opened with lockpick in the dungeon. These doors lead to short cuts through the dungeon.
  5. Eventually you will come to a room with crystal. Destroying it opens the nearby door so you can continue onward.
  6. [Optional] Beyond the room with the first crystal is another lock pick door. If you follow this path you will reach another locked door. This door leads to Xilkvar, an optional miniboss and a Chorizite Chest. Xilkvar may drop a bloodied strip of leather which is used for ?.
  7. Further on you will come to a 2nd room with a crystal. This is the last room before the boss. Killing the crystal opens the door.
  8. When ready, enter the door and down the ramp to the boss room. There are a couple ghost A'nekshay, a Falatacot Zealot, and Izexi.
  9. After Izexi is dead, loot a Legendary Key and an Ancient Falatacot Symbol from his corpse (drops 9 of each).
  10. Proceed to the adjacent chest room to use your key. Then recall back to the Neftet tent or take the surface portal and run back.
  11. Give Fahneph the Ancient Falatacot Symbol for experience, luminance, and other item rewards.

Lore & Dialog

Fahneph tells you, "Strange activities have been happening around Neftet recently. Many of my kinsmen have just up and vanished without a trace."
Fahneph tells you, "With Isparians eagerly seeking our treasures, an experienced A'nekshay disappearing is hardly unheard of."
Fahneph tells you, "As I hunted the nearby desert several nights ago, I was disturbed by the strangest of sights."
Fahneph tells you, "An ancient of the Falatacot approached. Her hands were empty but she was more armed than any I have ever seen. Weapons were dancing and darting in the air of their own will all around her. No master wielding them!"
Fahneph tells you, "She beckoned, calling for me to join with my brothers and sisters within the Foundry. I felt my will fading and an irresistible force pulling me to this stranger."
Fahneph tells you, "Fortunately, a brief but timely windstorm suddenly kicked up the desert sands which was enough of a distraction for the connection to be broken. I then was able to use the swirling sands and slip away into the darkness."
Fahneph tells you, "Hunt this fiendish being down and discover what she has done with my kind. I fear if she is not stopped that our race will be in grave peril."
Fahneph tells you, "Search the area to the north of Neftet. This is where I encountered the being."

Fahneph tells you, "No news? I can feel the lack of discovery emanating from you. Please return to me when you have information on the strange activities happening in the area."
