Han Solo/Group? huh? --An Adventurer 14:45, 2 January 2009 (CST)

I was stymied for a short name that would add another group (the description for Solo/Group is the exact opposite. Then I stumbled across this:
Star Wars creator George Lucas describes Han Solo as "a loner who realizes the importance of being part of a group and helping for the common good."
Which encapsulates both the loner against the odds, but where a group is the norm lol. I'm just throwing it out there, if you can think of a short better name I'm all for it.--Tlosk 15:24, 2 January 2009 (CST)
I typically put Solo/Group if it is usually a Group quest, but is soloable. Mukkir Slayer for example. Maybe we could have something to indicate that its typically a Group quest, but can be soloed by the highest levels?? Han Solo/Group is pretty funny. That works for me! --Atarax 15:29, 2 January 2009 (CST)
Is it possible to highlight Group inside a link? That's what I used too, but after Adventurer added the links, which are very nice, I wasn't sure how to keep the highlight in a way that it would go to a different blurb than regular solo/group (the blurb there emphasizes it is easy for solo). --Tlosk 15:39, 2 January 2009 (CST)
Yes: Solo/Group. Here's what I think we should do: Solo/Group is a quest that is easiest to complete when solo, Group/Solo is a quest that is easiest to complete with a group. Also we should get rid of solo/small group. --An Adventurer 16:46, 2 January 2009 (CST)
Good idea. --Tlosk 17:00, 2 January 2009 (CST)
Ok, so typical group quests, that are possible to solo, we call it Group/Solo, right? --Atarax 17:10, 2 January 2009 (CST)

I created this page and change the quests page and the quest guide template so they will link to here. I also added short explanations of the types of quests. Please discuss them here. What do you think of the explanations? Are there any categories we could get rid of? Are there any that we should add?

What about the names? I simply used all the quest types currently listed on the quest page. Should we leave them named as is, or should we add Quest to the end of all of them? I suggest this because the way it is set up now, Locked Fellowship redirects to its section here. We may want that page name to be a game concept page, while Locked Fellowship Quest would be the type listed here.

Also, like I said above, Tlosk created each type as a redirect to its section on this page. So [[Solo]] directs you to [[Quest Type#Solo]] and so on. How should we use these links? Should all the quest type listings on the main quest pages be links, or is the top link enough? Should all quest guides link to both the Quest Type page and their specific section? --An Adventurer 09:51, 16 October 2008 (CDT)
