It's an inconsistency, we need to break the Hea Tumeroks off into their own main category instead of being a sub category. Because we publish under an open license, there's nothing we can do to force Wikia to shut down their version if they don't want to, we've asked them several times in a couple of ways and basically it makes them money so they refuse. We go back and forth with them in search listings but one big advantage they have is they're such a large wiki farm that they have a lot of ingoing links that count towards SEO even though they are unrelated to their AC wiki. The best thing we can do is just remind people in /cg and on the forums whenever it comes up that they should use the current site. To be honest I am not a fan of the current naming for kill tasks. I Always thought they should either use the title as the quest name or go with some thing like Ebon Gromnie Kill Task. I don't even know who calls them hunter quests, I have always used and heard people use kill task. Once we get the quest guide done I was thinking about renaming and redoing all the kill tasks, or bringing the idea up anyway. I can answer it for you. Bots are accounts that you can use to do minor repetitive edits. Bot edits do not show up on the recent changes by default, thus saving the recent changes from being cluttered up with the same minor edits. Bots can also be used to patrol for vandalism and such.

I dont actually have any software to automate my bot (tlosk might) but I do a lot of  minor repetitive edits so I thought I could use a bot account.

I'm currently using custom scripts but after we upgrade to 1.14 we'll be able to use some of the utilities like the one you linked to. Our current version doesn't fully support the Bot API which is required (even though you can use AutoWikiBrowser with a nonbot account it still uses the API to function). That would be true of any version of windows, file names have some characters that are restricted and are reserved for system use (/\:?"<>|). You'll get an error message if you try to rename a file using one of these in an explorer window, WST should give you an error message but I just didn't code one in (adding all possible error messages isn't trivial and so instead of having the program crash on unhandled exceptions and lose any work in progress I just have it fail at the task at hand and continue). Now because the wiki server is linux based it is possible to have files with for example : or ? in the name, and there's a rename box when uploading files that allow you to change the name from the actual file name, but I'd recommend avoiding it if at all possible, it makes it more difficult when backing up the files to a non Linux system. --{{User:Tlosk/Sig}} 11:10, 15 September 2012 (EST)
