Long long ago, when Olthoi ruled the land, there was a nomadic band of Gharu trying to seek shelter from the endless attacks.

Among them was Guthras, an exceptional mage of his time. The Ghau tribesmen were driven to seek shelter underground, where they met a powerful group of Grievver. Koigi Ema and her brood.

To gain power over the years, Koigi-Ema devised a method using planar magic to draw power from lifestones (which, in turn were powered by ley lines).  Upon the height of her power, Koigi-Ema was capable of drawing so much power from lifestones that they turned red.  Many battles were fought by the brave warriors of Drunkenfell to defend these lifestones.
 
Until a few years ago, Guthras' spirit endured and enlisted the warriors of Drunkenfell to destroy the Queen Koigi-Ema and her brood.  While Guthras faded away after the Queen died, he left the recipe for powerful lightning-based weapons that we can use to this day.

# Speak with [[Jahimee bint Guthras]], located in Grievver Valley north of Stonehold at 75.7N, 20.6W.  Perform her task to receive [[Refined Chitin]]

# Go to 76.3N, 23.1W and select the "[[debris]]" to enter into the really nasty grievver dungeon.  Inside, take all right turns and go down ramps.  Finally, encounter [[Teine-ema]] and kill.  Need a group for this part.  Once the room is cleared, continue until you come to an impassable web.  Only melee can damage the web.  Use slashing -- this takes a long time.  Other teammates guard against respawn.  The web remains broken for 10 minutes.  Now go loot your [[Petrified Grievver Egg]]!

Quest Walkthrough

  1. Speak with Jahimee bint Guthras, located in Grievver Valley north of Stonehold at 75.7N, 20.6W. Perform her task to receive Refined Chitin
  2. Go to 76.3N, 23.1W and select the "debris" to enter into the really nasty grievver dungeon. Inside, take all right turns and go down ramps. Finally, encounter Teine-ema and kill.   6. Visit Silencia the Archmage in Crater Village and purchase a brown/grey glyph of the type of weapon you would like. Use the glyph on the Infused Refined Chitin. NOTE: for 2-handed spears you cannot use the "Two Handed Spear" glyph. Use the "Spear" glyph instead. This will yield a "Spear-stamped Chitin Bar".You have stamped your chitin.
