Release Patch
At the time of this edit, the article currently has the Baron's introduction as August 2000's Taste of Twilight event.
April 2000's Thorns of the Hopeslayer Release Notes have the following note:
- The undead Baron of Colier no longer leaves his Electric Long Sword on his corpse.
This not only indicates that the baron existed in April 2000, but that he existed prior to it as they were correcting a bug.
The Baron's wcid is 1522, which places him well before release.
