The lands around the 4 current starter towns are excellent places to hunt outdoors. The creatures immediately outside the towns are passive until attacked, so they are very easy to fight. If you are looking for some starter cash, you can easily hunt the landscape and return to town with full packs and gain 100k+ pyreals.
Check the Dereth Spawn Distribution, Marae Spawn Distribution, and Halaetan Spawn Distribution maps for an area appropriate for your level.

Likewise, the dungeons around the 4 current starter towns are great hunting spots. The creatures inside are aggressive however, so be careful, especially if you have a low health template. Beware of the Small Fledgling Mukkir Nests outside Holtburg, Shoushi, and Yaraq - these will be too dangerous for characters fresh out of the training academy.

Facility Hub Quests

At level 10 you will be able to start the Facility Hub Quests. This is a series of quests connected via a hub with high value experience rewards to quickly level from 10 to approximately 40 to 50. The hub also includes portals to the first 5 Olthoi Pincer dungeons and the first 8 Tusker Tusk dungeons. For the most efficient order to run the quests in to maximize the experience rewards, see Facility Hub Quests/Tasks by Efficiency.

Ice Tachi Quest
XP Rewards 15,000 (fixed)
Facility Hub XP 100,000 (fixed)
Item Rewards Ice Tachi
Restrictions None (10+ in Facility Hub)
Timer 20 hours (main reward), Once per character (Facility Hub reward)
Starts With Warden (Mosswart Camp) in Facility Hub.
Notes This is a very simple quest, and the one I recommend completing first. You merely have to kill the Mosswart Mucker and take his sword. After collecting your hub bonus, if you use Heavy Weapons it is a decent weapon. And if not, you can give the sword to an Ivory Crafter for some experience.

Dagger of Tikola Quest
XP Rewards 135,000 (135% up to level 16), 39,293 (40% up to level 15)
Facility Hub XP 100,000 (fixed)
Item Rewards Dagger of Tikola, Dull Dagger
Restrictions 10+
Timer 20 hours (main reward), Once per character (Facility Hub reward)
Starts With Warden (Folthid Estate) in Facility Hub.
Notes I recommend completing this quest second. The monsters are more difficult, however it is not required to kill a single creature to get the hub reward. You may merely run to the end and grab the Dull Dagger. However, if you use Light Weapons, it may be worth it to kill the final sclavus and get the other reward, the Dagger of Tikola. There are also side rewards for the Old Nectar and Ancient Shard of Metal. This shard is also the first component to the Asheron's Departure Lower quest.

Glenden Wood Dungeon Quest
Facility Hub XP 100,000 (fixed)
Item Rewards Platemail Hauberk of the Ogre, Fire Arrow (250)
Restrictions None (10+ in Facility Hub)
Timer No timer (main reward), Once per character (Facility Hub reward)
Starts With Warden (Glenden Wood) in Facility Hub.
Notes This is the most difficult hub quest of this tier. There are lots of monsters to kill, lots of keys to acquire, and a fairly large dungeon to navigate. Melees may be interested in keeping the hauberk for its Strength V enchantment, and archers (bow only) will enjoy the free fire arrows.

Baron's Amulet of Life Giving Quest
Facility Hub XP 175,000 (fixed)
Item Rewards Baron's Amulet of Life Giving
Restrictions None (15+ in Facility Hub)
Timer 20 hours (main reward), Once per character (Facility Hub reward)
Starts With Warden (Colier) in Facility Hub.
Notes The dungeon may a bit difficult to navigate, and there a handful of keys to collect, but this is probably the easiest of the 15+ tier quests. The reward is quite nice to have as soon as possible, so I suggest completing this one first.

Green Mire Grave Quest
XP Rewards 71,262 (50% up to level 17) x 2, 7,126 (5% up to level 17) x 2
Facility Hub XP 175,000 (fixed)
Item Rewards Green Mire Yoroi Cuirass, Green Mire Yari
Restrictions None (15+ in Facility Hub)
Timer 20 hours (main reward), Once per character (Facility Hub reward)
Starts With Warden (Green Mire Grave) in Facility Hub.
Notes Just like the quest above, this one requires the collection of several keys and navigating a large dungeon. The rewards (a cuirass and Finesse Weapon) are great equipment at these levels, and if you are not interested in them, you can turn them in to the quest NPC for more exp - just make sure you've collected your hub bonus first.

Superior Helmet & Fiery Shield
Facility Hub XP 175,000 (fixed)
Item Rewards Superior Helmet, Fiery Shield
Restrictions 10+ (15+ in Facility Hub)
Timer No timer (main reward), Once per character (Facility Hub reward)
Starts With Warden (Halls of Helm) in Facility Hub.
Notes While the dungeon is large and complex, there are no keys to collect. However, the final rooms can be a bit dangerous with all the war spells flying around, so I suggest running this one last.
