A leveling dungeon is a dungeon with a large number of relatively easy to kill, often non magic, creatures worth good experience, on a fast spawn cycle. The Black Spawn Dens were popular leveling areas until supplanted by the Marae Lassel Olthoi dungeons in the Oct 2001 Dark Majesty expansion and finally the Aphus Lassel Tusker Dungeons in November 2002. | ||

- Black Spawn Den was one of three leveling dungeons introduced in the Paths of Destruction event. (The others being Olthoi Horde Nest and Lugian Citadel). A leveling dungeon is a dungeon with a large number of relatively easy to kill, often non magic, creatures worth good experience, on a fast spawn cycle. The Black Spawn Dens were popular leveling areas until supplanted by the Marae Lassel Olthoi dungeons in the Oct 2001 Dark Majesty expansion and finally the Aphus Lassel Tusker Dungeons in November 2002.
