Yalaini master smith, governor of Aerlinthe, later counselor of Lady Raina of Elancia and Aerlinthe.[1]
- After successfully building up the infrastructure on Aerlinthe island, Gevran Loritane and Lady Raina return to Elancia . Lord Loritane appoints the master smith Hare Aralea to governor of Aerlinthe.[1]
- He successfully defends the island against attacks of the Pelagian Sea-Nomads.[1]
- Later, Loritane discovers the romance between Aralea and Raina who was bewitched by one of Aerfalle's servants.[2]
- In RE 372, after the disappearance of her husband, Lady Raina assumes control of Loritane's house and holdings. Hare Aralea renews his oaths of fealty to the Lady in person, traveling to her castle in Glystenae via fast skyship. [1]
- In the same year, Raina gives birth to a daughter Clari Loritane in Elancia. She claims her child to be the daughter of Lord Gevran Loritane.[1] A letter of Lady Aerfalle, however, suggests Clari might be the daughter of Aralea.[2]
- When the forces of Bael'Zharon overrun Elancia, Raina takes her daughter and her household to the Imperial Archipelago.In TE 1, she returns to Elancia. Hare Aralea and his wife Malestra join her there, and he becomes one of her counselors.[1]
- Ejan Aralea, son of Hare, succeeds his father as master smith and governor of Aerlinthe.
- According to Aerfalle's Letter, Aralea fathered two children with his mistress, one becoming an Empress (most probably Clari Loritane, the other one a smith, most probably Ejan Aralea.[2]
