Part 1: Splinter Dungeons

Splinter of Anger

  1. You will proceed through 4 number of rooms with portal doors. To open them, simply hit the lever in the alcove nearby.
  2. After the 4th lever room, you will come to the final room containing Virindi Confer, high level hollow minions, and the Disciple of Anger. Kill the disciple and loot a Splinter of Anger from the floor (9 spawn). Once you have a splinter, take the exit portal back to the surface

Splinter of Misery

  1. This dungeon has a number of large rooms with virindi and lightning pillars in them. Do not fight in the rooms, simply run through the large rooms, and follow the hall. The hall appears to split after each room, but in fact one route dead ends shortly.
    • Exit 1st big room to the north, go west
    • Exit 2nd big room to the east, go north
    • Exit 3rd big room to the south, go west
    • Exit 4th big room to the south, go east

  3. Again in the final room kill the Disciple of Misery and loot a Splinter of Misery from the floor. When you have one, take the exit portal to the surface

Splinter of Hatred

  1. This dungeon splits early on either to the east or to the west. Which way you go does not matter, as the dungeon is linear and the 2 paths meet up later on.
  2. From the drop, head east (or west) through 2 large rooms with more Lightning Pillars and virindi, until you come to the smaller 3rd room, which has a killable door. Killing the door opens the hall to reveal a jump.
    • Warning: Do NOT use a full power jump! You will hit the ceiling above and fall down into the pit. For those with a high jump skill 1/3 should suffice. For those with a lower skill 1/2 will do it. There is no way out of the pit below, and if you are vulned the floor will deal SERIOUS lightning damage!
  3. After making the jump, follow the hall north to a large room. This room has a number of giant pits you must now jump across
    • Note: If you fall, follow the hall back to the start of the dungeon. it is possible to overshoot the jumps!! For high jump skill players (600+) it is recommended not to aim straight across. Instead jump slightly north or south, to give yourself extra landing space.
  4. Make the 2 jumps, then continue south down the hall to the final room with the Disciple of Hatred and his minions. Kill the Disciple and loot a Splinter of Hatred then take the exit portal.

Part 2: Rynthid Access Dungeon

  1. Once you have all 3 Splinters, head to the Virindi Delegate located up on the rim of the Obsidian Crater (61.6S, 63.3W) to hand them in for the first 3 rewards.
  2. In addition to your rewards, the Virindi Delegate will also give you Focused Splinter of Anger, Focused Splinter of Misery and Focused Splinter of Hatred. Take the focused splinters back to the Rynthid Crystal Access Device at 63.1S, 65.5W and give one (it will take all 3 Focused Splinters) to the device to be portalled into the next dungeon.
  3. In here you will be completing a series of puzzles.
    • Note: If you die run back and use the Crystal Access Device again at 63.1S, 65.5W to be portalled back to the 1st puzzle room.
  4. Head north through the 2 rooms with lightning pillars (be sure to dispel before running!). In the 3rd room, there will be lightning storms all over the ceiling shooting streaks at you. Run across this room as well but beware!! Throughout the rooms are traps to take all your stamina, and give you 300% burden by casting Weight of Eternity on you! After exiting the room with the lightning storm, head through the hallways with the lightning traps but STOP before entering the 4th large room!
  5. This 4th large room (with red lightning coursing over the ground) is the final trial.
    • Note: If you fail this puzzle, you will be portalled to a small room leading to the start of the dungeon and need to run back.
  6. In this room, you must walk ONLY where the lightning goes (it does not hurt). You can even move if ther is no lightning visible, as long as you don’t stray off of the lightnings path. Take your time and go SLOW. There is NO direct path to the south east exit. You will traverse the entire room on your way there. I went east, then south, then all the way west, then south, then east on my way to the door.
    • Note: There is also a Chorizite Chest in this room in the opposite corner to the exit hallway.
    • Note: Do not try and jump. There is an invisible ceiling and you will simply be portalled back to the start of the dungeon.
  7. After crossing the room, sprint over and talk to the Mysterious Portal (be careful of the 2 pillars in the room as well). It will reward you with a Lightning Cloud before portalling you out of the room and dropped at (81.7S, 62.9W) near Candeth Keep.
  8. Return once more to the Virindi Delegate located up on the rim of the Obsidian Crater your final rewards.
