Overview

Sir Daeglan is looking to learn all he can about Geraine. He asks that you search out texts that may shed some light on recent events.

Walkthrough & Notes

1. Tome 1 (Book 1: The Apostates) is found during the Apostate Finale
   • It is in the third dungeon of that quest (Apostate Nexus (Shimmering)).
   • Please see quest walk through for Apostate Finale
2. Tome 2 (Book 2: The Gurogs and the beginnings of the Plan) is found during the Wardley and the Wights quest.
   • It is located in the Frozen Wight Lair in the room with the Frozen Wight High Acolyte.

3. Tome 3 (Book 3: The Time Ritual and the Sand Kings) is found during the Halt Dericost Ritual Quest.
   • It is located in a side room off the main hall in the final dungeon of this quest. (Warded Dungeon Passage)

4. Tome 4 (Book 4: Further Manipulations of Time) is found during the Slave Master Quest
   • It is located in the Temple, behind a bunch of boxes on the right side of the first floor. The boxes clear when the boss is killed. You have to use the book in the bossroom to open the passageway.

5. Once you have each or all Large Tomes take them to Zaikhal to be translated by Kuyiza bint Zayi the Translator.
6. Return translated books to Sir Daeglan for your reward.

Notes

• The books can be found in any order and can be given to NPC in any order.

Sir Daeglan tells you, "Greetings, my name is Sir Daeglan. I've been assigned here by Queen Elysa to learn all I can about Emperor Geraine's actions in regards to the kingdom and its allies."

Sir Daeglan tells you, "To that end, I am rewarding those who bring me information on Emperor Geraine's actions, movements or plans."

Sir Daeglan tells you, "If you find anything, bring it to me. If it is information I can use, I'll reward you for it."

Sir Daeglan tells you, "While that book may indeed be of use to me, I do not know the language of the Dericost. Bring that to the translator in Zaikhal, please."

Kuyiza bint Zayi the Translator tells you, "Well, this explains a lot, and raises even more questions. I did not think the plight of the Empyreans was related to the actions of Emperor Geraine, but I guess it was."
