Overview

Ulgrim is thirsty but can't be arsed to trek down into the basement, so he has you fetch a mug of his special brew. He rewards you with a stein that can convert stamina into mana, a real boon for characters that don't have life magic trained.

Walkthrough & Notes

1. Head into the Ulgrim's Basement and through the portal.
2. Head through the basement until you find Ulgrim's Home Brew.
3. Now head back and kill mice until one drops Ulgrim's Golden Key. The key can be used to unlock a chest (see map) with some misc items or unlock the treasure room door to retrieve the housing item. You can also loot multiple keys to do both if you wish.
4. The chest on the left contains various beers, and the chest on the right contains a Hangover Cure, 2 Peppermint Sticks, an Ust and a Nanto Portal Gem.
5. Inside the room just before the chest room is a secret passage on the west wall with some hanging rugs behind barrels.
6. Unlock the door, you can find Treasure, Ulgrim's Golden Gromnie and a lock box containing Ulgrim's ring (no rewards).
7. Hand in Ulgrim's Home Brew to Ulgrim the Unappreciated to receive the Casting Stein.
   • Optional: If you do not want the casting stein, it can also be given to Ulgrim the Unpleasant in Ayan for an Asheron Mask.
