Unless someone wants to take the time to collect a real amount of good data to analyze, I don't think we should include numbers. Real data would mean something like an hourly or bi-hourly check of server population for all servers for at least 2 weeks, to determine what exactly the peak hours are, what the peak days are, if those hours/days vary by server, and what the average population is for those times. I do not want to just throw up one set of numbers and declare them as the population of the server. | Unless someone wants to take the time to collect a real amount of good data to analyze, I don't think we should include numbers. :Wow, talk about a solid decline here! (I'll bet it's the same population on Verdantine, right?) They would best consolidate all NPK servers into one in order to keep it populated enough. --[[User:ENG|ENG]] 06:55, 14 October 2008 (CDT) | |||

Does anyone have any access to the latest traffic counts for each server? The average number of players on each server during peak hours would be useful knowledge to add to the article. --[[User:ENG|ENG]] 04:16, 13 October 2008 (CDT) | Does anyone have any access to the latest traffic counts for each server? Unless someone wants to take the time to collect a real amount of good data to analyze, I don't think we should include numbers. Real data would mean something like an hourly or bi-hourly check of server population for all servers for at least 2 weeks, to determine what exactly the peak hours are, what the peak days are, if those hours/days vary by server, and what the average population is for those times. I do not want to just throw up one set of numbers and declare them as the population of the server.
Also, I do not think that server population is really all that useful. Frostfell is the the highest populated NPK world, but it is not noticeably that much different from my home server of LC. All the NPK worlds are between maybe 100-200 active people at peak times on worlds that were supposed to max out at what, 3000? They all feel equally empty compared to 2000-2001, and the best best for all is to get in a good allegiance.
