* At level 50+, any character may fellow together and get the full experience bonus. Prior to 50 there is a +/- 5 levels of the fellowship leader rule, and if any members of the fellowship are outside of that range, the experience bonus becomes unbalanced (in favor of the higher levels).
Contract quests are next in the series of quests in the guided advancement route. Contracts provide useful information for starting a quest, including a contact, contact's location, quest location, and a brief description. They also let you know your current status on the quest (available, in progress, or done).
* Higher damage per hit becomes more important at this point. For most characters, this means acquiring weapons imbued with the Rending special property. :Category:Contracts are available from a number of vendors. Four vendors in particular, the Contract Brokers in Holtburg, Sanamar, Shoushi, and Yaraq sell contracts that count towards a special task, the Contract for Broker Contracts.

Broker Contracts
Broker Contracts<br />
Contract: Contract for Broker Contracts (sold in Holtburg, Sanamar, Shoushi, and Yaraq)<br />
Experience Reward: Varies (see contract for details)<br />
For every 5 contracts sold by the contract brokers that you complete, you can receive an additional experience reward. You may collect bonus experience rewards for every 5 contracts you complete, up to 35. To collect these rewards simply speak to the broker's partner.

Frozen Fury<br />
Contract: Contract for Frozen Fury (sold in Holtburg)<br />
Experience Reward: Levels 1-49: 5,000,000 (100% up to level 51), Levels 50-64: 9,000,000 (66% up to level 65), Levels 65-79: 25,000,000 (85% up to level 80)<br />
Item Reward: Sword of Frozen Fury, Dagger of Frozen Fury

Southern Shroud Cabal<br />
Contract: Contract for Southern Shroud Cabal (sold in Shoushi)<br />
Experience Reward: 5,000,000xp (100% up to level 51)<br />
This is a very easy quest. The only difficult part may be tracking down a random spawn of shroud cabal foragers.

Crafting Forges (Low) <br />
Contract: Contract for Crafting Forges (Low) (sold in Shoushi)<br />
Experience Reward: 8,000,000 (175% up to level 52)

Enrico's Betrayal <br />
Contract: Contract for Enrico's Betrayal (sold in Sanamar)<br />
Experience Reward: 15,000,000xp (fixed)<br />
This quest is fairly easy, as you just need to visit 3 dungeons and collect 3 notes. If you have weak armor and low melee defense, be prepared for some possible high melee damage. I recommend running this quest along with the Eviscerator pincer since one of the notes is in that dungeon. Note that the Small Hive is a randomly appearing dungeon, so it may take some time to find an entrance.

Faces of the Mukkir (Low) <br />
Contract: Contract for Faces of the Mukkir (Low) (sold in Yaraq)<br />
Experience Reward: 10,000,000 (100% up to level 60)<br />
This can be a difficult quest for an ill-equipped adventurer. Eaters and Viamontian Knights can deal high melee damage. Note: All 4 versions of the mukkir orb quest share a single timer. If you run this version, you will not be able to complete any of the other tiers until the timer expires.

The Caliginous Bethel <br />
Contract: Contract for The Caliginous Bethel (sold in Sanamar)<br />
Experience Reward: 6,000,000 (75% up to level 57)

Decrepit Tower Quest <br />
Contract: Contract for The Decrepit Tower (sold in Yaraq)<br />
Experience Reward: 7,500,000 (100% up to level 56)<br />
Item Reward: Cowl of the Sand, Periapt of Endless Sight, Shagraka

Other Contracts
Crystal Core Quest<br />
Contract: Contract for Buried Alive (sold in the Aluvian wing of the Town Network)<br />

Crystalline Killer<br />
Contract: Contract for Crystalline Killer (sold in the Sho wing of the Town Network)<br />
Experience Reward: 20,000,000 (20% up to level 111)<br />

<b>Aerbax's Prodigal Drudge</b>
Olthoi Pincers: Eviscerator<br />
:Notes: This is a great group quest for all levels. Bonecrunch (the boss) is a high exp kill. Lower levels benefit greatly from this when fellowed with higher levels. The quest exp is a percentage reward (pxp) which caps at level 180, making this a great quest for higher levels too. Lower levels (with Life Magic trained) can help the group by using their own healing magic or by using The Healer's Heart's innate spell, Heal Other VI, to heal the higher levels while they kill the monsters.
Experience Reward: 5,000,000xp (fixed)<br />

:Timer: 20 Hours for all 3 tasks.

<b>Fenmalain Vestibule Quest</b>
Eastham Sewer Quest<br />
:Notes: This quest is only 20+, and the reward caps at level 40. The reward is a bit low, however one can collect multiple Fenmalain Keys and use them all on the gate at once, meaning you can have a stockpile of Fenmalain Portal Gems allowing you to quickly complete this quest when your timer is up.
Experience Reward: 8,800,000xp (fixed)<br />
:XP Rewards:
Item Reward: Metal Round Shield<br />
:* 476,330xp (20% up to level 40)
This quest requires lockpick, and if you have the skill, I highly recommend this quest. The experience is great at level 50, and the shield, with a weapon mastery buff for every melee skill, can be pretty handy too.
:Timer: 6 Days.

<b>Fort Tethana Tug of War</b>
Tumerok Vanguard Outposts<br />
:Notes: This quest requires lots of running, and may be a bit difficult for some characters right at 50, but the reward is certainly worth the time.

:XP Rewards:
Item Reward: Vanguard Leader's Amulet, Vanguard Leader's Crossbow, Vanguard Leader's Morningstar<br />
:* 5,300,000 (flat)
This is actually two quests, the north and south vanguard outposts, each with a reward of 5 mil. Both dungeons are fairly straight forward and you should be able to run to the end without having to fight any creatures. The tumeroks may be a bit difficult, but if you can complete one it is well worth your time to complete the other. The amulet is a good upgrade from the amateur explorer necklace, as well. This quest also has excellent synergy with the Tumerok Gladiator Kill Task.
:Timer: 13 Days.

<b>Plateau Village Transit</b>
Undead Mechanic Quest<br />
:Notes: This quest is only 30+, however the rewards to not cap until level 59. The rewards are a bit low, but it can be a fun quest.
Experience Reward: 12,170,000xp (fixed)<br />
:XP Rewards:
Item Reward: Walking Boots<br />
:* 1,153,984 (15% up to level 59, split up over 5 rewards at 3% each)
This is a long but fun quest. Lockpick is required. You get to visit a lot of old interesting dungeons all over Dereth, and I would recommend it for that alone. The experience is decent, the boots offer nice buffs, and you gain the title of explorer.
:Timer: 13 Days.

<b>Southern Shroud Cabal</b>
Banished Creature Kill Task<br />
:Notes: The Shroud Cabal foragers are a common find in the southern mountains, where one may find other quests and hunting in the 50+ range. While not the most rewarding quest, it is easy enough to complete.
Experience Reward: 30,000,000 (fixed)<br />
:XP Rewards:
This task, along with the rare game task, are not tasks that you complete in one sitting, but are more of a side quest. Banished creatures are somewhat rare, so I recommend flagging for this quest now and killing any banished creatures you happen to find.
:* 1,022,688xp (10% up to level 60)
:Timer: 6 Days.

Rare Game Kill Task<br />
<b>Crystalline Crag</b>
Experience Reward: 50,000,000 (fixed)<br />
:Notes: The Crystalline Crag is a 50+ hunting area in the Direlands. It is populated with elemental Wisps that frequently cast elemental war magic spells. It may be a bit difficult right at 50 depending on character and equipment. All characters are suggested to get minor wards for Acid, Fire, Frost, and Lightning. Melees will also benefit from a Sanguinary Aegis. The best damage types to use on the wisps are slashing, piercing, and bludgeoning.

Contract Quests

Contract quests are next in the series of quests in the guided advancement route. Contracts provide useful information for starting a quest, including a contact, contact's location, quest location, and a brief description. They also let you know your current status on the quest (available, in progress, or done).

Category:Contracts are available from a number of vendors. Four vendors in particular, the Contract Brokers in Holtburg, Sanamar, Shoushi, and Yaraq sell contracts that count towards a special task, the Contract for Broker Contracts.

Faces of the Mukkir (Low)
Contract: Contract for Faces of the Mukkir (Low) (sold in Yaraq)
Experience Reward: 10,000,000 (100% up to level 60)
This can be a difficult quest for an ill-equipped adventurer. Eaters and Viamontian Knights can deal high melee damage. Note: All 4 versions of the mukkir orb quest share a single timer. If you run this version, you will not be able to complete any of the other tiers until the timer expires.

Experience Reward: 50,000,000 (fixed)
This task, along with the banished creature task, are not tasks that you complete in one sitting, but are more of a side quest. Rare game creatures are, as the name implies, somewhat rare, so I recommend flagging for this quest now and killing any rare game creatures you happen to find.

Outdoor Hunting

Check the Dereth Spawn Distribution, Marae Spawn Distribution, and Halaetan Spawn Distribution maps for an area appropriate for your level.

Crystalline Crag
The Crystalline Crag is a 50+ hunting and questing area in the Direlands.

Direlands/Stonehold Region
At level 50-60 some characters can start to handle the 60-80 blue areas on the Dereth Spawn Distribution map - the eastern Direlands and the Stonehold region. There are many tasks one can complete in these areas, like the Dire Champions, the Plate Armoredillo Kill Task, Elemental Kill Task, and Aun Golem Hunters' Magma Golem Exarch Hunt.

Linvak Mountain Range
The Linvak Mountains are a good place to for outdoor hunting. While there you can work on the Banished Creatures and Rare Game kill tasks, given out by Belinda du Loc of Stonehold. Rare game in the Linvak Mountains are Tundra Mattekars, Lugian Warlords, Sentient Fragments, and Swamp Kings in the watery areas like lake Kara and Adjamaer (Dread Ursuin are present, but do not count towards the task). While in the mountians, you can fight Tanada Hunting Parties and look for Southern Shroud Cabal foragers. Blighted Dire Ursuins are a common sight, and you can collect Blighted Mana Crystals from them for the Tainted Ley Line Nodes. There are many Golems for Mote hunting, and plenty of Shadows and Fragments if you are looking for Shadow Armor. Argenory, Lapyan, and Minalim dye plants are common.

Tips

 • At level 50+, any character may fellow together and get the full experience bonus. Prior to 50 there is a +/- 5 levels of the fellowship leader rule, and if any members of the fellowship are outside of that range, the experience bonus becomes unbalanced (in favor of the higher levels).
 • Higher damage per hit becomes more important at this point. For most characters, this means acquiring weapons imbued with the Rending special property. Alternatives/additions to rending weapons include: Life Magic for vulnerabilities and imperil, Alchemical Throwing Phials for vulnerabilities and imperil, and Item Tinkering Lenses for imperil.
 • Completing a set of Seasoned Explorer equipment from the Exploration Society Letters quest will provide you with level VI enchantments for all attributes, combat and related skills, and life protections. There are also several Minor cantrips included in the full set. It is highly recommended that you complete a suit.
