Hi there.  I noticed your portal.dat icon summary for this patch is missing two icons: 06006f14 (green gloves) and 06006f47 (rare void orb).  I seem to recall that yaroz stopped updating the portal.dat summaries on dereth.info when he had trouble getting the icons.  I'm guessing it might have something to do with how you are finding files within the data file -- I certainly had trouble getting that right.  I've put a brief summary of what I do at [[User:Widgeon/Data_File_Format]].  Hopefully it'll make sense :) --[[User:Widgeon|Widgeon]] 12:05, 9 March 2011 (EST)

Thanks for all the great edits and the portal.dats. We've promoted you to [[ACCWiki:Administrators|admin status]] on the wiki, this allows you a number of extra privileges like the ability to edit protected pages, make deletions, move pages (change a page or image file's name while preserving the edit history of the page), block users if you notice vandalism, [[Special:ListGroupRights|and others]]. Most of these will just appear as additional options on regular pages, some can be found as bolded links [[Special:SpecialPages|here]]. Thanks for your work contributing to the wiki.

Also note that unlike edits to standard pages which force the cache to update, edits to this menu won't show up for logged out users on pages that haven't been edited recently unless the cache is manually refreshed - an expensive procedure (computationally) that I only do once a month or so. That is, rather than render every page from scratch each time someone visits it, a rendered copy is made every time an edit is made and saved so that it can be used for non logged in users to speed things up, but when that copy is made it uses whatever is currently in the menu sidebar, and if that sidebar gets changed, it doesn't know that until it has to make a new copy of the page for the cache (due to a new edit or the cache getting flushed so there is no copy to use and has to create a new one). For logged in users they see all pages rendered from scratch. --{{User:Tlosk/Sig}} 6:36am, 8 August 2013

Hey Sucamarto, I noticed on your updated map for [[The Shadows]], you have the void for the 2nd 4-way at the south entrance to the the 4-way. Its actually at the north side. This is significant, because you can bypass it without killing it by using that little path around it.  Just thought you might be able to update it :) [[User:Atarax|Atarax]] 08:44, 24 December 2011 (EST)
I forget too what I told you before, there's a couple of ways to do this, but in this case the best way to handle it is the following, especially in cases where many items use the same image.
# Upload a copy of the image using a simple descriptive name, for example:
#* [[:File:Contract Yellow Icon.png]]
# Then for any items that would use that file, type in the name of the file as it should exist (using any characters like ":" as needed) into the search box, it will give a red create page link, click it and then on a single line put '''<nowiki>#Redirect [[File:Contract Yellow Icon.png]]</nowiki>''' and then you can reference it like any other item's image, for example:
#* {{Icon Link|Contract for Golem Hunters: Coral Golem Viceroy}}

Ok, well that one stumped me for a few minutes too, haha.  I noticed Arkalor was able to create a file and redirect it to one of the other contract icons with a : in the title, so i moved one of his preserving the redirect, went back and changed the redirect back and then pointed the new "file" to redirect to the correct icon. btw, you should start signing your messages. --[[User:Immortalbob|Immortalbob]] 15:06, 12 April 2012 (EST)

Plugin automatically uses & recharges pets

Could you make the necessary changes since the game is Lifetime access now, I think updating the versions of the wikia list presented on http://acpedia.org/wiki/Plugins#Decal_Plugins would be beneficial for the player base of the game -- well, for the returning players mostly or new players. :) This is because I've been told by ImmortalBob and many others that the wikia is more updated on quest information but I noticed its plugin list is out-dated.

Sidebar Menus

It's a little different from standard pages, it's created by an extension that uses the information on this system page:

MediaWiki:MenuSidebar

Also note that unlike edits to standard pages which force the cache to update, edits to this menu won't show up for logged out users on pages that haven't been edited recently unless the cache is manually refreshed - an expensive procedure (computationally) that I only do once a month or so. Images with disallowed characters in name

I forget too what I told you before, there's a couple of ways to do this, but in this case the best way to handle it is the following, especially in cases where many items use the same image.

  1. Upload a copy of the image using a simple descriptive name, for example:
  2. Then for any items that would use that file, type in the name of the file as it should exist (using any characters like ":" as needed) into the search box, it will give a red create page link, click it and then on a single line put #Redirect [[File:Contract Yellow Icon.png]] and then you can reference it like any other item's image, for example:

Essence

I added a T/F parameter to the template that will display specialization required (example). --How often to wash makeup brushes? ,<a href=http://cheap-macmakeupor.webs.com/#38275>wholesale mac makeup</a> ,,http://clarisonicmia2us.webs.com/#18392 5:01am, 26 February 2013
