• Archmages sell spell components, magic items, mana stones and alchemical items. Sometimes they sell spell component peas, portal gems, clothing (robes) and miscellaneous stuff such as the Splitting Tool.
• Named Archmages can be found in the major towns. Nameless archmages can be found all over Dereth, in towns or in the outskirts/wilderness. Mages found outside of towns sell all tapers, herbs and Scarabs up to level IV, as well as various alchemical items.
• Master Archmages sell all magic components, and very specific magic goods, such as Master Robes and portal gems including some unique ones. See the Mastermage page for a list of these mages and their wares.

• In Now In This Hush, all unnamed archmages found in the wilderness and town outskirts were updated and now sell tapers; lead, iron, copper, and silver scarabs; and all trade notes. In addition, master mages and select archmages also started selling town Portal Gems and Platinum Scarabs.
