Description

Helps you figure out creature's attributes. If your skill is too low, only the creature's level will be shown, all other attributes will be shown as ??. The skill check is made against the creature's Deception (Skill).

With creature appraisal lenses (requires the skill to wield), one may also weaken an opponent's defenses much like an imperil spell. See See gearcrafted lenses for more details.

Aluvians and Tumeroks have the option of having specialized creature appraisal as their racial skill with the help of a Changer of Innate Abilities which are stationed at all the starting towns.
