This small shard of crystalized mana is discolored by some strange corruption. Perhaps Laedron the Royal Surveyor in Ayan Baqur would know more about it. |
Notes
- Originally given to a node that had not reached full power.
- The crystals are interchangeable (can hunt any of the six creatures and use the crystals to any of the nodes).
- In the Ancient Powers event all nodes were completed and now you can give the crystals to the statues at the nodes for xp.
- In the Seeds of Corruption event a new quest was added where you can give 20 crystals to a Gateway at each node to be transported to a Blight Lord's Lair.
You allow Laedron the Geomancer to examine your Blighted Mana Crystal.
Laedron the Geomancer tells you, "Yes, this is exactly the kind of crystal we need to feed into the six pyramids, as detailed in my book. But this does no good to me. I'm glad you have it, make no mistake. Just take it to a pyramid and make use of it there. Have you seen the book I wrote on it? If you ask nicely, I may give you one."
You give A'mun Node Pyramid Blighted Mana Crystal.
The pyramid pulses with light as it absorbs the Blight Crystal.
You do not have enough Blighted Mana Shards to pass through to the Blight Lord's lair.
You allow Halaetan Gatestone to examine your Blighted Mana Crystal.
You hold the Blighted Mana Shard against the gatestone to no effect. You get the sensation that simply trying to use the gatestone with at least 20 Blighted Mana Shards in your pack will activate its powers.
