Most seasoned warriors would scoff at anyone who would use such a weapon in battle. The head of the axe was much too large and the haft much too short. With such an unbalanced weapon a fighter would be at a severe disadvantage. And so it was thought until they saw Count Renari fight with it. Not only did Renari like to fight with an unbalanced axe, he liked to fight unarmored, relying on his own speed and skill to dodge the opponent's blows. Renari had no problems hitting his foes, though, nor did he have trouble punching through their armor.

Count Renari's Equalizer

Notes

  • In Shedding Skin the stats were improved, including for existing items. Also no longer drops on death automatically, it can be protected with death items/augmentations. See Count Renari's Equalizer (Retired) for old stats.
  • The weapon now levels when you gain experience while wielding it and gives bonus spells the higher the level.
  • During the Master of Arms event, the skill was changed from Axe to Heavy Weapons and the spells adjusted accordingly. The base damage was upped from 45.6 - 57 to 50.1 - 63.
