General

Lockpicking is required to get one item for this quest, in the Mines of Despair. You must also have a key from the Focusing Stone quest to get into the Mines of Despair.

Walk Through

Part 1: Empyrean Golem Stone

  1. Go to the Mines of Despair at (Xinh settlement portal in Mayoi at 60.8S 80.4E then run northwest to 75.4S 57.2E) to get the Empyrean Sun Stone.
  2. Go to the Arwic Mines at (33.8N 56.8E in Arwic) to get the Stone of Alb'arel.
  3. Go to the Colier Mines at (Colier View Hill portal east of Cragstone at 26.3N 46.3E then run southwest to 56.8N 38.4E) to get the Stone of Rez'arel.
  4. Combine all three to create an Empyrean Golem Stone.

Part 2: Inactive Blank Golem

  1. Go to the Halls of Metos near Tufa at 4.4 s 0.6W (Restricted 15+).
  2. Jump over the east acid pit, and go to near the end of the dungeon.
  3. Hand the Empyrean Golem Stone to the Golem Constructor to get an Inactive Blank Golem.
  4. Buy three Sigils from the Sigil Keeper. They cost 50,000 pyreals each.

Part 3: Imprinting Motes

Low: Imprinting Mote
  1. Go to the Golem Sanctum. This portal spawns randomly on the landscape, or is accessible from The Floating City, another randomly spawning landscape portal.
  2. Pick up an Imprinting Mote from the ground inside the Golem Sanctum. (6 day timer on pickup.)
  3. Use a Sigil on the Imprinting Mote to create an Imprinted Mote of the given skill.
  4. Use the Imprinted Mote on the Inactive Blank Golem to create a Journeyman Golem for the given skill.
Medium: Quality Imprinting Mote
  1. Do the Gift Box quest, and get a Quality Imprinting Mote in the room with the chests.
  2. Use a Sigil on the Quality Imprinting Mote to create a Quality Imprinted Mote of the given skill.
  3. Use the Quality Imprinted Mote on the Inactive Golem to create a Master Golem for the given skill.
High: Superb Imprinting Mote
  1. Go to the Ancient Masonry dungeon on Aerlinthe Island, and get a Superb Imprinting Mote near the end of that dungeon.
  2. Use a Sigil on the Superb Imprinting Mote to create a Superb Imprinted Mote of the given skill. This requires 604 skill for a 50% chance of success, so it's a good idea to use a rare.
  3. Use the Superb Imprinted Mote on the Inactive Golem to create an Artisan(?) Golem for the given skill.
  4. [Optional] - Go to the Halls of Metos at ??? near Wai Jhou, and get the Pyreal Mote near the end.
  5. [Optional] - Go to the Halls of Metos at 55.9s 89.2w near Ayan Baqur, and get the Pyreal Mote near the end.
  6. [Optional] - Return to the Halls of Metos at ??? near Tufa, and give the two Pyreal Motes to the Golem Warden for a small amount of experience.
