Notes
- Originally dropped by Virindi Grand Inquisitors when it was one of the three possible exchange items needed for a Writ of Refuge.
- Retired in the The Gathering Storm event when other exchange items for writs were added.
- When the Preparation for the Ritus quest was introduced a new purple version became available. As part of the initial preparation Nuhmudira briefly appeared in Zaikhal on October 6th 2003 and accepted one newer purple Energy Crystal in return for an old blue one, which she inscribed (see above).
- Retired blue Energy Crystals are quite rare.
- During the The Quest for Freedom the Energy Crystal (Retired) can now be Weapon Tailored onto other Magic Casters.
- Shattered Masks even the scaling issue with tailored pre-patch Energy Crystal was fixed, Energy Crystals already broken should now be fixed.
