Walk Through

• You MUST have completed the Shadow Communication quest AND the Strange Crystal Quest, and you must have completed the Strange Crystal Quest at least 13 days prior, or Isin Dule will not allow you to begin this quest.

1. To begin this quest, regardless of which side you choose, you can begin by speaking to Isin Dule. He will ask you to find Ler Rhan, who is located in the shadow spire (The Shadows). You will travel to Ler Rhan, and he will give you "A Message from Ler Rhan to Ter Shen".
2. At this point, you make the decision concerning which side you will take. If you wish to side with Isin Dule, go speak with him now. He will send you on a mission to interrupt the ritual. If you wish to side with the shadows, simply head to the cave.
   • If you head to the cave without speaking to Isin Dule, you will be ported into a copy of the dungeon with NPC shadows. You will find Ter Shen and give him the message. He will instruct you to speak with another NPC, which is around the corner, who should give you a key to use on the two locked doors further down. Unlock both doors, speak to both shadows, and they will open the further doors for you. From here, jump down and find two strange crystals, use them to get a Strange Purple Crystal. Once you have two of these, there is a large room in this part of the dungeon which should have spawned the BZ summoners. Give each one of them a crystal, and defend them until BZ spawns, continue to defend until BZ dissapears and drops some other crystals. Grab a crystal, and head back to the shadow spire and give them to Ler Rhen for the Title "Shadow Puppet" a 3 use MFK, 30k lum and somewhere around 250 mil max XP.
   • Now, if you wish to side with Isin Dule, the quest is actually a lot easier. After receiving the message to Ter Shen, go speak with Isin Dule instead of heading straight for the new cave. He will send you to stop the ritual. Now when you head to the cave, you will enter a copy of the same dungeon, except the shadows will all be able to be killed, and there will be no NPCs. I think there is a key that drops on one of them to open the lower doors, but I simply lockpicked both of the doors to your left and right, hit the buttons inside and went down. You will make your way to the summoning room, Void of BZ should be standing there, along with a lot of Void Knights and Panumbris Shadows, and they are on a fairly quick respawn timer so don't mess around. Kill the Summoners, BZ will dissapear leaving the crystals. Grab a crystal and give it to Isin Dule, for the same rewards mentioned above and the title Hopebringer instead of Shadow Puppet.
