Quest Overview

Upgrade a weapon of your choice by completing the 50 challenges of Summercrown.

• Warning: You must talk to Summercrown before handing him 100 Infused Amber Shards for the 1st challenge. If not, your quest will not advance, and you will lose your Infused Amber Shards. This is a known bug that may be fixed in the future.
• The Token of the New Paragon can be used to reset your progress, allowing you to start at the 1st challenge again. This is useful if you would like to start on a new weapon rather than taking your first one to maximum level.
• Warning: There is a bug preventing you from picking up a second Aerbax Mask Shard rendering you unable to complete the 3rd challenge a second time. This also means that if you turn in the shard for Aerbax's Defeat your character will be unable to complete challenge.

Walk Through

1. Make your way to the Deru Tree of the Viridian Rise.
2. Talk to Summercrown to receive a challenge. Complete the challenge and return to Summercrown to receive the next challenge.

Summercrown tells you, "The Deru have agreed that those who reach me in this place and aid us with the corruption that spreads here are worthy of my blessings."
Summercrown tells you, "To honor their wishes, I have forged their blessings into the Paragon Weapon Gems. These gems will empower the weapon of your choice with the blessings of the Paragon."
Summercrown tells you, "These blessings grow as the imbued weapon gains in experience, and as you complete my challenges, the gems I will craft for you will increase your Paragon Weapon's capacity to learn."
Summercrown tells you, "There are 50 challenges to fully imbue a Paragon Weapon, and 50 tiers of learning they can gain the imbue gems I craft. Every time you complete one of my challenges, you will be rewarded with a gem that will increase the level of your Paragon Weapon by 1."
Summercrown tells you, "Your first challenge is a simple and practical one. Bring me 100 Infused Ambers, so I may use them to forge the first few gems you will be earning."

1st Tier Paragon
You allow Summercrown to examine your Infused Amber Shard.
Summercrown tells you, "These will do nicely, thank you. They should empower the rituals for a while to come."
Summercrown tells you, "Now, for your efforts, this is for you."
You hand over 100 of your Infused Amber Shards.
Summercrown gives you Luminous Amber of the 1st Tier Paragon.
Summercrown tells you, "Your next task is simple. Travel to the Colosseum, defeat it, and return to me."
Summercrown tells you, "Don't worry about those challenges that exist alongside the actual Colosseum. This challenge is only for the timed arena."

2nd Tier Paragon

You feel a surge of energy pass through you as the Luminace flows from you into Summercrown.

Summercrown tells you, "I am running low on Infused Amber with which to forge your gems. Your next task is to bring me 100 Infused Ambers, so we may continue."

5th Tier Paragon

Summercrown tells you, "On far Freebooter Isle, there is an old Deru. It has come under attack by one of the corrupted Sclavi, known as Tchk'Tain the Tender. Find him, slay him, and bring his head."
Summercrown tells you, "Be warned, he is an elusive one, and sometimes difficult to find. Patience will be your ally in hunting him."

Summercrown gives you Luminous Amber of the 11th Tier Paragon.
Summercrown tells you, "Deep in the Direlands is a place known as the Graveyard of Despair, where old House Mhoire fell. Bring me 1,000 Ancient Mhoire Coins from that place."
Summercrown tells you, "Now, for your efforts, this is for you."

12th Tier Paragon
You allow Summercrown to examine your Ancient Mhoire Coin.
Summercrown tells you, "Ah, thank you for this. I will study these, and see if anything can be done to break the Book's hold on the place."
You hand over 1000 Ancient Mhoire Coins.
Summercrown gives you Luminous Amber of the 12th Tier Paragon.
Summercrown tells you, "Deep inside Mhoire Castle you will find the Shade of Lord Rytheran, whoused the Book of Eibhil to destroy all of House Mhoire, Slay him and bring his ring to me.

13th Tier Paragon
You allow Summercrown to examine your Rytheran's Jeweled Ring.
Summercrown tells you, "It is good to see even an aspect of that monster destoyed. To flagrantly weild such evil."

You hand over 1 of Rytheran's Jeweled Rings.
Summercrown gives you Luminous Amber of the 13th Tier Paragon.
Summercrown tells you, "Your next challenge is one of empowerment, To continue infusing magics in Paragon Gems, I will need and infusion of Luminance from you."
Summercrown tells you, "As you do not carry enough Luminance within you to empower the gems, return to me when you have at least 200,000 Luminance."
