A Box of Ten Promissory Notes can also be purchased from Marid the Stipend Vendor in Arwic for 4 Stipends, gives 10 Promissory Notes when used.
Returned by the merchant Higashiyama Akako in exchange for Alternate Currencys, the Promissory Notes can then be exchanged with Absalom Sarraf for any Alternate Currency.
During the Cloak of Darkness event the Promissory Note was added as a random reward at the High Stakes Casinos.
During the Lessons from the Past event A'nekshay Tokens were added as currency to trade for Promissory Notes.
During the March Patch Hotfix:(8th May, 2014) - Promissory Notes were made tradeable as the Attuned and Bonded attributes were removed.
