Shadow Armor Quest: Difference between revisions

During the Heroes' Respite event, the Shadow Armor became lighter and the elemental protections were improved.
During A Perfect Paradox event, the quest became repeatable without a loss of quality in the armor.
During the To Raise a Banner of Flame event the Armor Smiths were murdered and unable to create armor at its former AL.
During the Taste of Twilight event Atlan Stones could be placed in the Greater Shadow Armor to increase its elemental protections (See Aliester's Corollary).
During the Fever Dreams event, the Armor Smiths returned to their former health and were able to produce Shadow Armor at its former strength (Neo-GSA).
During the Persuasion event, the ability to dye your Greater Shadow Armor became available.
During A Gathering of Colors, a new quest became available to turn your Shadow Armor into Sharded Shadow Armor.
During Mirror, Mirror event, it became possible to dye Sharded Shadow Armor.
During A Change in Tactics, a new quest became available to turn your Shadow Armor into Prismatic Shadow Armor.
During the Down Twisting Paths event, a new Alduressa Shadow Armor became available.

NOTE: Shadow Armor can not be made into Sharded Shadow Armor or Prismatic Shadow Armor (Use Greater Shadow Armor for Sharded or Prismatic Armor)

Bring your Sparkling Gems to the appropriate NPC to receive Shadow Armor. You must have 2 Sparkling Gems for complete armor in any given set.

Alduressa (Base AL 130): Iian di Alduressa - 89.0N, 67.6W in Silyun - (1st Gem gives Legs, 2nd Gem gives Jacket)
Amuli (Base AL 130): Jibril ibn Rashid - 7.1N, 3.0E in Al-Jalima - (1st Gem gives Legs, 2nd Gem gives Jacket)
Koujia (Base AL 135): Koga Hideki - 82.9S, 46.0E in Kara - (1st Gem gives Legs, 2nd Gem gives Breastplate/Sleeves)
Celdon (Base AL 150): Alean the Steel Forger - 18.5N, 62.8E in Eastham - (1st Gem gives Legs/Girth, 2nd Gem gives Breastplate/Sleeves)

Follow the directions for Shadow Armor to create four Sparkling Gems.

Create 2 Scintillating Gem- combine 2 Sparkling Gems to create a Scintillating Gem
Bring your Scintillating Gems to the appropriate NPC to receive Greater Shadow Armor. You must have 2 Scintillating Gem for complete armor in any given set.

Alduressa (Base AL 190): Iian di Alduressa - 89.0N, 67.6W in Silyun -- (1st Gem gives Legs, 2nd Gem gives Jacket)

[OPTIONAL] If you want to dye your Greater Shadow Armor, visit any of the three vendors and purchase some Shadow Dye:
