Walk Through

The Major Stinging Stone

• [Optional] Purchase the rumor Duplicated Portals from various shopkeepers.

1. The Incunabula Vault is located at 35.8S 47.3W in the Direlands, there is also a portal at 23.0S 60.0E.
   • Route: Use the Portal to Kivik Lir's Temple at your mansion and run to 35.8S 47.3W.
     • Alternately use the San-Chin Settlement Portal in Hebian-To at 41.5S, 82.1E and run to 23.0S 60.0E.
     • An even quicker route can be made from Sawato by taking the Mire Hill Portal at 75.8S, 83.1E and then running to 23.0S 60.0E.
2. The dungeon contains only Olthoi Soldiers. From the drop take the southern ramp down and hug the right wall all the way around until you get to a big open room.
3. Take the North-East hallway and follow the path across some bridges until you come to a second big room. Take the North hallway again to a room with an large acid pit. Go around the wall until you are at the ledge of the pit looking at the corner of another ledge.
4. If you jump is high enough you can leap across to the other side. Take the North-Eastern hall way and follow it all the way to the surface portal. Take the right and run across the big room to a hall with the Major Acid Stone on the ground with some other gems and a book. Pick it up and recall.

The Minor Stinging Stone

1. [Optional] Purchase the rumor, A Stinging Stone, from Barkeeper Fo Ya-Un in Hebian-To at 39.1S, 83.4E, the rumor directs you to find a small Swamp Cave at 24.5S, 47.4E.
2. To get to the cave quickly, start in Yanshi take the Swamp Temple Place Portal at 10.3S, 45.7E, from here it is a short run to the cave at 24.5S, 47.4E.
3. Once there you will see 3 Mosswart Soul Trappers, 2 Mosswart Zealots and 11 Sewer Rats, kill them then run down into the cave and pick up the Minor Stinging Stone, you will also see a Textbook and a Soiled Parchment which you can take if you wish.
4. Optionally you can take the Textbook and Soiled Parchment to Bretself the Translator in Cragstone for translation at 26.0N, 47.0E. The textbook translates to Atlan's Treatise, the parchment translates to Decree.

Uses

Major and Minor Atlan Stones

1. Place in an Atlan Weapon to make an acid version of that weapon.

2. Place in an Isparian Weapon to make a acid version of that weapon.

3. Turn in to an Agent of the Arcanum for 1 Writ of Refuge (Unlike with the major stone, you will need two minor stones for the writ).

Major Atlan Stone Only

1. Place in Post-Patch Greater Shadow Armor to get +40 armor level and unparalleled protection to acid.

You give Agent of the Arcanum Minor Sparking Stone.
Agent of the Arcanum tells you, "Excellent, the second minor stone! We hope to tap those energies for other uses. Here, take this as a reward."
Agent of the Arcanum gives you Writ of Refuge.
