This was the first epic quest in Asheron's Call. Although it is dated by today's standards it is still an iconic quest and the Sword of Lost Light (or SoLL as its called) is still one of the game's most iconic weapons.

Walk Through

The first step in the quest is to collect six keys from six different dungeons all located near the newbie towns.

Key #1 - File:Worn Small Key Icon.JPG Worn Small Key

Location: Holtburg Dungeon at 43.6N, 33.0E outside the town of Holtburg

Map: ACmaps - Holtburg Dungeon

Key on: Swamp Rat

Directions:
1. Go straight from the drop into a large room with bookshelves.
2. Exit that room through a doorway on the left wall and go right.
3. Take the first left hand passage into a large room.
4. Cut straight across the large room and down a ramp.
5. Go in the first door on the right and the kill the Swamp Rats within the room. You will find a Worn Small Key on one of their corpses.

Location: Yaraq Tunnels at 24.7S, 1.4W outside the town of Yaraq

Key on: Drudge Slave

Directions:
1. Go straight to a large room
2. Exit that room through a doorway to the south.
3. Go through a couple small rooms and go down a ramp to the west.
4. At the bottom of the ramp go right though a grated door then immediately left through another door and go down the ramp.
5. At the bottom of the ramp there will be a T, go right down a ramp 6. In the room at the bottom of the ramp go through a door to the right 7. You will come to a 5-way intersection, take the 2nd passage on your left. 8. This hallway will take you straight a Drudge Slave with the Worn Strange Key on its corpse.

Location: Yanshi Tunnels at 12.2S, 45.5E outside the town of Yanshi

Key on: Drudge Slave

Directions: (if you don't have lockpick skill)
1. From the drop keep left (the dungeon is essentially a circle) until you reach a large room with 2 tables and a locked door to the north. A Drudge Slave in that room drops the Worn Plain Key.

Directions: (if you do have lockpick skill)
1. From the drop go right until you reach two consecutive locked doors. Unlock the doors and you'll be in a room with 2 tables. A Drudge Slave in that room drops the Worn Plain Key.

Location: Shoushi Grotto at 34.5S, 72.8E outside the town of Shoushi

Key on: Drudge Slave

Directions:
1. From the drop keep go down the ramp and keep straight till you reach a large room.
2. Exit the large room through a hallway to the left. Take the second hallway to the right and go straight till you go down a ramp.
3. At the room at the bottom of the ramp go left into another room then right down a hallway to a large room (with some empty lifestone brackets).
4. Exit the large room though a hallway to the right then run straight (going up several ramps) until you reach the "Throne Room". A Drudge Slave in that room drops the Worn Old Key.

Location: Dungeon Manor at 1.9S, 19.8E outside the town of Samsur

Directions:
1. From the drop take the first right then go left at the split and go straight into a very open area.
2. From here keep left then take the first right leading to a small room with a narrower hallway. Go down the hallway straight to a room with a pedestal with a gem floating above it. A Drudge Slave in that room drops the Worn Rusty Key.

Location: Rithwic Crypt at 14.0N, 59.1E outside the town of Rithwic

Key on: Desert Rat

Directions:
1. From the drop take the first right then take the third door on your left. Go down the ramp.
2. Take a left at the room at the bottom then an immediate left into a room with three Desert Rats one of them in that room drops the Worn Odd Key.
