Map Dereth Point

Description

A floating Spire on the Northern Point of Ithaenc Island. It cannot be accessed directly any longer.
There are two Fortress Walls underneath. Also near it is a Sclavus Castle.

Shard of the Herald Event

This is the location used by Anadil's forces (including his third commander) in the Should the Stars Fall event as mentioned in Anadil's Campaign Journal.

I have set my main perimeter at the northern coast of Itheanc. My forces have knocked down the bridge that led from Avallel island, but that is a poor defense. The water itself remains fordable. I have sent forces to garrison the small fortress there, and have set them to construct defensive walls. --Anadil

As the undead archer falls to the floor of its Skytower, a voice in your mind screams, "They are breaking through our perimeter! Notify Lord Anadil!"
As the undead archer falls to the floor of its Skytower, it calls in Roulean, "Excellent shot!"

During the event, the skytower could be accessed via a "Perimeter" portal located near Ithaenc Cathedral in the Camp of the Latzimestal. The tower itself held a portal to Chalicmere Castle used by the Chalicmere Legion Commander whom was stationed in the Camp of the Latzimestal along with Anadil of Shakrassekor.

Some of the creatures found here during the event were actually Shadows in disguise who had infiltrated the defences and killed the commander taking part of the key given to him by Anadil. The key was then given to the Shadow Governess for safe keeping on Savao Island.

As the undead falls, its rotting flesh ripples and sloughs away, revealing the ebon form of a Shadow! "We slew the third deadflesh commander," it cackles. "What was his is ours now!"
