This book was added in the July 2001 Lost in the New Horizon event in memory of the author Douglas Adams, who wrote the book, [The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy], and who died May 2001. The author F.P. refers to Ford Prefect, a major character in the book. A.D. in the text refers to Arthur Dent, the main character in the book.
The book was first hinted at during the Chains of Command event when the Muddy Towel and Wet Towels were first introduced. See Guidebook Brochure.
