Head to the mosswart fort. coords are approx. 78S 87E I beleive. Head down into the caves. No map is available yet and its a bit of a maze, but you want to head down. There are two items you need to recover, and they are in different sections of the lower area. You need to speak to a mosswart Shaman to free him, and you need to collect a stack of papers. There is no need to kill the prodigal mosswart and no reward for doing so as far as I can tell.

Bring the papers to an NPC in MacNiall's Freehold. She is a scholar standing in the bar, and I believe she has on the Exploration Society uniform (the plain robe and hat w/ feather).

Return to Kryst. Speak with the npc that gave you the quest. You get an exp reward. Done with the main quest.

If you want the Blessed Spear of the Mosswart Gods, you must complete another step. Head to the Mosswart Worship Cavern at 41.1S 48.8W (dires swamps). Head to the mosswart NPC at the end and speak to him. He gives you the spear. The spear can be turned in for exp at the guard that gives the quest.

The spear may be useful if you have a mid level spear character or play a character without life magic that has 4 credits to spend on spear. Its 325 to wield, has a nice attack bonus, and has cast on strike: fester 7, with 400 spellcraft I believe.

Basic quest: Speak to the guards in Kryst. Only one matters for the actual mosswart fort quest. The other one just gives the unrelated kill task and the leader is only there for lore.
