Creating the Aqua Vitae (Living Water)

  1. Obtain a Crucible from Archmage Zarri ibn Khaybi in Xarabydun at 41.9S, 16.2E
    Route: From the Town Network, take the west (Gharu'ndim) wing to Xarabydun.
  2. Use Concentrated Aqua Incanta on a Pyreal Mote, Pyreal Sliver, Pyreal Nugget, Pyreal Bar or Quality Pyreal Ingot to create different amounts of Aqua Vitae.
    The pyreal dissolves in the aqua incanta enhancing the magic.

Creating the Mixtures to use with the Aqua Vitae

  1. Use the Crucible on different Spell Potions to create a Crucible with Potion
    The potion and the later added Powdered Gem determine the spell type (see Table below)
    You add the potion to the crucible.
  2. Use the Crucible with Potion on a Herb to create a Potion and Herb Crucible
    The Herb determines the level of the spell
    You add the [herb] to the mixture, successfully predicting the correct timing.
    Eyebright - Level III - Lesser Alchemy Gems - Final Crafting Difficulty At 50%: 125
    Henbane - Level IV - Alchemy Gems - Final Crafting Difficulty At 50%: 175
    Amaranth - Level V - Improved Alchemy Gems - Final Crafting Difficulty At 50%: 225
    Frankincense - Level VI - Greater Alchemy Gems - Final Crafting Difficulty At 50%: 275
    Hyssop - Level VII - Adept's Alchemy Gems - Final Crafting Difficulty At 50%: 325
  3. Use Aqua Vitae on the Potion and Herb Crucible to create a Treated Potion and Herb Crucible
    You add the aqua vitae to the mix, the formula bubbles and appears ready for application to a crushed powder.
  4. Use the Treated Potion and Herb Crucible on a Powdered Gem to create two Alchemy Gems.
    The powder congeals into a gem-like substance. The process is a success!
Failing any of the skill checks destroys the mixture.
You fail to time the cibation correctly and fail the process.
You fail to surmise the correct time for cibation and ruin the mixture.
The process was an utter failure, leaving you with a messy mass of mush to show for your efforts.
