Exchanging Augmentation Gems

Blank Augmentation Gems are treated the same way as non-blank ones, so if you turn one in only to find that you cannot use it you can still give it to any trainer in exchange for the desired augmentation. Alternatively, you can return any augmentation gem to Donatello Linante (Silyun) or Arianna the Adept (Bandit Castle) to receive a Blank Augmentation Gem.

During the Stirrings in the Dark event the timer for picking up a Blank Augmentation Gems was lowered from 21 days to 13 days. During the Lost City of Neftet patch Blank Augmentation Gems were modified and can now be handed to Nalicana for 10,000 luminance points. During the Master of Design event a new Jack of All Trades Augmentation was introduced. During the Present Dilemma event, you can now return any augmentation gem to either Donatello Linante in Silyun or Arianna the Adept in Bandit Castle at 66.5N, 49.9E. You will receive a Blank Augmentation Gem in return. During the Master of Arms event the Tristra's Essence Augmentation was removed as the Gearcrafting skill was merged into the Item Tinkering skill.
