Every three weeks you can obtain an augmentation gem from the corpse of Sir Bellas to use in giving your character special abilities and characteristics. See the quest Augmentation Gems for more details.
*Note that there are several portals in the Lower Level that lead to the Main Level, most of them are untiable, however at least one of them is tiable/summonable.
