Preparation

Before you get started killing Reeshan, there are a few things you should do and share with your group.

• Dissolve any fellowships because of the fellowship debuff spells that Reeshan casts.
  
• Do not cast any vulns or imperil on Reeshan because he will counter them, and become un-killable.
  
• Be sure no one is using a Cast on Strike weapon, namely the Royal Runed Weapons.

Combat

Killing off the smaller mobs first may be a good strategy if you are worried about lag or losing some of the lower levels. Otherwise everyone concentrate on Reeshan, if you have enough mages their wall spells will take out most of the smaller mobs anyway. Since they will respawn anyway, it doesn't matter too much.

• Mages use frost wall if you have it.
  
• Archers attack with full speed using Spectral Chill Arrows if you have them.
  
• Melees attack for damage, being careful to watch their health and the debuffs on them.

It is important to check what debuffs are on you fairly often, as they can be quite viscous. Most of the spells Reeshan will cast on you will be accompanied by a green text message that insults you in some way.

Taunts:
- As your spell trickles harmlessly away into nothingness, Reeshan finds amusement in causing you more grief.
- As your magic fails to penetrate Reeshan's defenses he absently waves a hand weakening your connection to mana.
- Finding your attempts to bestow ill magics upon him laughable, Reeshan responds with a spell of his own.
- You wound the giant deeply. The scent of a heady fungus flows about the area and Reeshan's hide looks to have become thicker.
- With a chortle, Reeshan reels his head back and retaliates for your assault.
- A look of amusement courses through Reeshan's eyes and he croaks out an incantation that falls upon you.
- A deep girgle that sounds like a laugh issues from Reeshan. The air around him becomes foul.
- With a mighty croak, Reeshan, snaps his head back in anger. A deadly spray of acid squirts from his hide.
- Laughing, Reeshan retaliates for your failed assault.</font
- A glimmer of recognition lights in Reeshan's Eye. Your feeble attempt at casting a spell upon him has earned you his attention.
- Finding a trickle of mana drift away from your failed attack, Reeshan turns the errant mana into a formidable assault.

Getting Eaten

Reeshan rears back and opens his mouth wide. A hideous smell emits from within the behemoth's gullet and he thrusts himself forward scooping you into his mouth. Darkness envelopes you and you fall toward the beasts stomach.

Occasionally after dealing a great deal of damage to Reeshan (such as with critical hits) you will be teleported into his stomach. You will take a short fall and then land in the center of his stomach; which deals minor environmental acid damage, so you will want to get up against the stomach wall as soon as possible.

After you are against the wall, pull your Critical Strike weapon out and attack the Stomach Wall by doing the following:

• Mages use walls, such as Tusker Fists.
  
• Archers attack with full speed as they do not have any missle defense to speak of.
  
• Melees attack on full speed.

Since damage does not matter, it is best to just use whatever will allow you to attack the fastest. You will be portaled out eventually by critting him. Do not forget to switch back to your rend weapon, as fighting him using a Critical Strike weapon causes you to crit more, and therefore more likely to get eaten again.

Completion

After Reeshan has been killed, trophies of Reeshan's Hide will spawn on the ground throughout the final room. Everyone needs one and they can be turned in, in Cragstone. Check Burun King 1 Reeshan for more detailed information.
