Description

The City of Neftet, located at 21.1s 5.3e, became lost some time ago when the Mu-miyah, a sect of the Dericost made up of nomad desert drifters with a militaristic code of honour, enslaved the A'nekshay, a race of beings who are seemingly made of the sand they inhabit with the more powerful ones being closer to true elementals. A barrier tied to an underground leyline was put into place presumably by Geraine IV and hid the city to all outsiders while creatures like the Reedshark and Armoredillo were ferried in, possibly to enforce the enslavement. The barrier began to fluctuate when adventurers began shutting down repeated attempts to start up a ritual that was using the leyline (Halt Dericost Ritual Quest) and Asheron, seeing the danger in a barrier collapsing violently, deconstructed it with the help of Borelean Strathelar who, himself, would send out a squadron of knights and Arcanum scholars to the area to perhaps help the people enslaved or to face the enslavers.
