Armor slots

This includes the slots: head, chest, upper arms, lower arms, girth, upper legs, lower legs and feet. The shield slot is also considered an armor slot.

Cloak slot

Clothing slots

This includes undergarments such as shirt and pants. Certain items of clothing like raiments cover both of these slots.

Although clothing never has a visible AL above 0, it's also considered armor as it can be buffed with Item Magic through which it contributes to a character's total AL.
