At the entrance to the dungeon catacombs, a trio of blademasters staggered out, faces charred and blackened, weapons twisted, and armor rent. As they left, they passed an old mage leaning against his staff; the men cast incredulous looks at the old mage, daring to stand so near this entrance to the horrible Mu-Miyah's lair.

The Master Life Mage smiled at the men, deigning to bless them all with a single spell of healing. With nary a look back, he entered the lair alone . . .

There is more to Dereth than the whirling blade, and far more protects its heroes than tower shields and peerless healing kits. Without the spells of Life Magic, who knows how many more corpses would litter the battlefields and dungeon grounds? The following characters have achieved the highest Life Magic skill in their respective worlds, and should be afforded the recognition they deserve. As Player Killers depend upon a cloud of deception, we have chosen not to publish statistics for PK's or for the Darktide server world.
