An academy for mages once run by Lord Rytheran and Lady Jaera. Lord Rytheran has since left and Rytheran's Apprentice now lurks in the Library.
The academy contains many levers and keys which give access to the various stages of the dungeon. When used in the correct order they lead to Lady Jaera's Tomb.
An Altar of Bael'Zharon can be found in the end sewer area of this dungeon.

Stone Key - Carried by the Xekrit Zefir Guardian on level 6, unlocks tomb room door, see map
Old Key - Carried by a Banderling Smasher on level 4, unlocks door on level 2, see map
Rytheran's Key - Carried by Rytheran's Apprentice in the library

During an unknown event, the level 8+ requirement was removed.
During the Heroes' Respite event, a chest in Rytheran's study and Lady Jaera's Tomb were updated to Sturdy Iron Chests.
During an unknown event, Lady Jaera's Tomb was updated and now requires Rytheran's Key to unlock.
During the Ancient Enemies event, Lord Rytheran left the Mage Academy and his Apprentice took his place.
During the From Darkness, Light event, a level 150+ restriction was added, the creatures were updated and Lady Jaera's Wand was added to her tomb.
