Quest Overview

House Mhoire needs help to investigating the whereabouts of Geraine, and the missing book.

Walk Through

  1. Head to Geraine's Study, at 82.9N, 6.4W.
    • Route: From Tou-Tou, take the Snowy Valley settlement portal (30.5S, 94.6E) and run.
  2. Once inside, follow the areas west, east and south, killing creatures and using their keys to progress as necessary. At the end of each location, you'll find a numbered parchment.
  3. While collecting the parchments, it is a good idea to grab one of each plate type off of the creatures you kill as they drop them.
  4. To the west, the parchment is located on a Wight Captain in the dead-end room.
  5. To the east, the parchment is found in a book lying on a table (using the book gives you a parchment scrap).
  6. To the south, the parchment is found on a corpse in a cell which requires a key to open.
  7. Determine the code order by the numbers on the scraps and their tear indications. For example, a parchment with a tear on the right is the left-most number. The parchment torn on both sides is the middle number, and the parchment torn on the left is the right-most number.
  8. Using the parchment code, the decode is BELIEVED to be the following:
    • The left most number indicates the bookshelf number, from the left.
    • The middle number indicates the row on that bookshelf.
    • The right number indicates the book on the row, counted from the right edge (not the left).
  9. The icons on the indicated book (top to bottom) will tell you what plates you need to hand to the Altars, left to right, when facing north in the dungeon.
  10. If you are correct, the doors to the north will open:
  11. Work your way north a short ways until you reach one Renselem (undead). Kill it, and more doors will open to the north to Geraine's room.
  12. Once through the doors, you will find Geraine standing at the far side of the room.
  13. DO NOT ATTACK Geraine until all participants are in the room. Attacking him will cause the entry doors to close and they will not re-open upon his death.
  14. Once you kill Geraine, the cell doors around the room will open, allowing you to loot a Book from the table.
  15. Take the book to the Mhoire Soldier at in Graveyard for your rewards.
