Quest Overview

During the Ancient Enemies event, various creatures were kidnapped from their homes and used as Virindi experiments; the outcome of which can be seen in the Aerbax's Prodigal quests. At each of the kidnap sites, could be found a Shred of Blue Cloth that when handed to Guard Hrothgar earned you an experience reward (now retired).

Guard Hrothgar tells you, "The Aun town crier has disappeared from the town, and no one seems to know where she is. Aun Hareltah requested that the Queen send someone to investigate. It was a harrowing trip to get through Viamontian lines unnoticed, but we've managed to do so."
Guard Hrothgar tells you, "Unfortunately, we have no clues. We'll keep looking, but I don't see much likely hope of finding anything."

Guard Hrothgar tells you, "This is the second crime scene I've been to this month. This one is certainly more unusual. Certainly countless adventurers have honed their weapons and spells on the drudges which used to lurk by this tree - but I cannot imagine anyone with the power to kill permanently would waste their efforts here."
Guard Hrothgar tells you, "In addition, you'll note that only one corpse is accounted for. Perhaps the drudge felt that the threat of permanent death was too frightining and ran off - but after how many years guarding the same apple tree? This is a strange scene indeed."

Hidden Cavern (Harraag, Banderling Champion)

Guard Hrothgar tells you, "Greetings, traveler. If you'll excuse me, I am in the middle of examining a crime scene here."
Guard Hrothgar tells you, "We had a report from Hendac and Jenavere that something strange occurred within this cavern. Apparently, they have on occasion visited the banderling chieftain of this place - one Harraag - to learn more about the conflict between the banderlings and the augmented drudges, with few results. However, they tried to pay a visit this last time, and he wasn't there."
Guard Hrothgar tells you, "As much as I hate to admit it...I can't seem to get in to investigate the site. Instead, we're investigating around here to see what we can find."

Candeth Keep (Grocer - Dojiro Sargi)

As the month rolls around to April on another world far away, the world of Dereth becomes...more surreal. Yet even amongst all the surreality, a tragedy occurs. Yet another kidnappin has occurred, this time in Candeth Keep itself!

Guard Hrothgar tells you, "Greetings, traveler. If you'll excuse me, I am in the middle of examining a crime scene here."
Guard Hrothgar tells you, "This is at least a more conventional crime, even if we have no leads yet. Dojiro Sargi has been the grocer here in Candeth Keep for some time, but no one is aware of any enemies that he may have made. One night, Talira Dain's servant, Gilly, went out to pick up cheese for her mistress's late night snack, and discovered that Grocer Sargi was missing."
Guard Hrothgar tells you, "The local guard report that they might have seen the purple glow of someone portalling earlier that evening, but they assumed it was one of the many adventurers who often come here to reprovision."
