- Returned by the merchant Higashiyama Akako in exchange for Alternate Currencys, the Promissory Notes can then be exchanged with Absalom Sarraf for any Alternate Currency.
- During the Cloak of Darkness event the Promissory Note was added as a random reward at the High Stakes Casinos.
- During the Lessons from the Past event A'nekshay Tokens were added to this Vendor.
- During the March Patch Hotfix:(8th May, 2014) - Promissory Notes were made tradeable and the Attuned and Bonded attriburtes were removed.
