- The Major Shivering Stone and a number of lore texts can be found behind levered door D1 (see map).
- During the Heart of Woe event, a second duplicate portal to the vault appeared at 59.9S, 55.0E.
Ye Olde Exploits
Before the Hidden Vein patch in 2002, a party could take a shortcut through the vault by buffing Jump skill to 250+, jumping on a wall candle, and then jumping onto a walkway above it. In a patch note, the fix regarding the exploit was given as: At the beginning of the Serac Vault, you can no longer jump on the candle.
