Combine 2 Cracked Shard to create a Tiny Shard

Combine 2 Tiny Shard to create a Small Shard

Combine 2 Small Shards to create a Crystal Fragment:

Combine a Shadow Fragment with a Crystal Fragment to create a Sparkling Gem:

Bring your Sparkling Gems to the appropriate NPC to receive Shadow Armor. You must have 2 Sparkling Gem for complete armor in any given set.
- Alduressa: Iian Di - 89.0N, 67.6W in Silyun -- (1st Gem gives Legs, 2nd Gem gives Jacket)
- Amuli: Jibril ibn Rashid - 7.1N, 3.0E in Al-Jalima -- (1st Gem gives Legs, 2nd Gem gives Jacket)
- Koujia: Koga Hideki - 82.9S, 46.0E in Kara -- (1st Gem gives Legs, 2nd Gem gives Breastplate/Sleeves)
- Celdon: Alean the Steel Forger - 18.5N, 62.8E in Eastham -- (1st Gem gives Legs/Girth, 2nd Gem gives Breastplate/Sleeves)

Create 2 Scintillating Gem
- Combine 2 Sparkling Gems to create a Scintillating Gem:
- File:Sparkling Gem icon.png + File:Sparkling Gem icon.png = File:Scintillating Gem icon.png
Bring your Scintillating Gems to the appropriate NPC to receive Greater Shadow Armor. You must have 2 Scintillating Gem for complete armor in any given set.

[OPTIONAL] If you want to dye your Shadow Armor, visit any of the three vendors and purchase some Shadow Dye:
- Tamar ibn Rashid - 7.1N, 3.0E near Al-Jalima.
- Maere the Dyepot Peddlar - 18.6N, 62.8E near Eastham.
- Jo Ten-Ma - 82.9 S, 46.0E near Kara.

NOTE: Will work ONLY on Greater Shadow Armor

During the Persuasion event, the ability to dye your Shadow Armor became available.
During A Gathering of Colors, a new quest became available to turn your Shadow Armor into Sharded Shadow Armor.
During A Change in Tactics, a new quest became available to turn your Shadow Armor into Prismatic Shadow Armor.
During the Down Twisting Paths event, a new Alduressa Shadow Armor quest became available.
