One of the six Soul Crystals that imprisoned Bael'Zharon.
Was found within the catacombs beneath Ithaenc Cathedral during the Should the Stars Fall event only.
Dropped high level "phat" loot for its time.
The above screenshot is of the Thistledown shard, which was so well defended by the players that in the end the developers had to intervene to destroy it.
The shard was normally a level 126 creature; however, the defenders levelled the crystal up by sacrifising themselves to it.
