Walk Through

The Major Sparking Stone

• [Optional] Purchase the rumor Duplicated Portals from various shopkeepers.

1. The duplicate portal for the Amperehelion Vault is located at 35.0N 20.0E. To reach it take the Mountain Ridge Abodes portal at 27.9N, 29.5E from Glenden Wood.
2. The dungeon has Sable Gromnies and lightning elementals.
3. From the drop take the first right, continue across the bridge, and then jump down.
4. Then follow either hall to large room. Cross the room and take the West(right) hall and follow it to another big room.
5. Take an immediate left without crossing this room and follow that path. In the next big room cross to the other side and take the north hall(right).
6. At the intersection go strait and down to another big room. Take the hall immediately on the right and down across a bridge. At the intersection go East(right) to the end of the hall and head north.
7. Go right at the intersection and right again. You should be in a square room with a path up to the West. Follow that path to a ledge and jump down to the bottom with the lightning stone and some other gems. Collect it and recall.

The Minor Sparking Stone

1. [Optional] Purchase the rumor, A Sparking Stone, from Te Ketnan the Barkeep in Mayoi at 61.4S, 81.9E, the rumor directs you to find a Zefir Cave at 60.0S, 75.5E.
2. To get to the cave quickly, start in Mayoi take the West Mayoi Mountain Villas portal at 60.8S, 80.3E, from here it is a short run to the cave at 60.0S, 75.5E.
3. Once there you will see 8 Sufut Zefirs, run past them down into the cave and pick up the Minor Sparking Stone, you will also see a Textbook and a Hastily Scrawled Note which you can take if you wish.
4. Optionally you can take the Textbook and Hastily Scrawled Note to Bretself the Translator in Cragstone for translation at 26.0N, 47.0E. The textbook translates to Atlan's Treatise, the note translates to a Field Report.

Uses

Major and Minor Atlan Stones

1. Place in an Atlan Weapon to make an lightning version of that weapon.

2. Place in an Isparian Weapon to make a lightning version of that weapon.

3. Turn in to an Agent of the Arcanum for 1 Writ of Refuge (Unlike with the major stone, you will need two minor stones for the writ).

Major Atlan Stone Only

1. Place in Post-Patch Greater Shadow Armor to get +40 armor level and unparalleled protection to lightning.

Handing in 2 minor stones to an Agent of the Arcanum
You give Agent of the Arcanum Minor Sparking Stone.
Agent of the Arcanum tells you, "These elemental stones have wonderful properties. The minor ones aren't quite as useful as the major stones, but I can reward you a writ if you bring me another minor stone."

You give Agent of the Arcanum Minor Stinging Stone.
Agent of the Arcanum tells you, "Excellent, the second minor stone! We hope to tap those energies for other uses. Here, take this as a reward."
Agent of the Arcanum gives you Writ of Refuge.

Notes

• During the Heart of Woe event, a duplicate portal was added for the Amperehelion Vault to make the dungeon easier to get to (see the Duplicated Portals rumor).
• During the Reforging the Past, the quest timer was standardized from 14 days to 13 days.
