The Exploration Society was created to help new arrivals to Dereth by giving them both valuable information and a purpose: to explore this new world. The group is based out of Eastham, though there are no officals or buildings there to signify it. Sir Candeth Martine was a member of the Society until the then leader betrayed him and traded him to the virindi. Martine would later take his revenge on the Society by killing its leader.
