Quest Overview

• Portions of this quest require Lockpicking skill to reach the alloy piece.

Walk Through

1. Optional: Speak to the Undead Mechanic east of Redspire at 42.1N 79.1W. to acquire the Missing Mechanisms list.
2. Proceed to the 20 dungeons and collect the alloy pieces.
3. Return to the Undead Mechanic and exchange all 20 pieces for experience and untranslated pages.
4. Combine pages in order to complete the binder. Turn in to the Undead Mechanic for the Walking Boots, Alloy Machine, and Explorer Title Token, which can be handed back for the Explorer title.

Agent of the Arcanum tells you, "What an interesting ... umm ... mechanism! I have no idea what it's for! But you know, those Arcanum Researchers, they've been working with odd metals like this -- you should ask one of them. You can find them in the libraries in Cragstone, Hebian-To, or Zaikhal."

Arcanum Researcher tells you, "No, I think I do remember something about a metal like this. Something the undead were working on. Hmmm ..."
Arcanum Researcher tells you, "Why don't you ask the Undead Mechanic, by the waterfall on Marae Lassel? Maybe he can tell you something about this ... umm ... mechanism."
