- This dungeon is one of many dungeons in the Sword of Lost Hope Quest designed to be completed with two or more people.
- Doors in this dungeon are lever activated and can only be opened by levers in the lower Shade Stronghold dungeon and vice versa.
- The next section in the Upper Heart of Darkness works in the same way.
