Quest Overview
Walk Through
- Go to the new Hut near the Frozen North at 83.8N, 4.3W. Talk to Halvor. He will send you to look for his brother Wardley's camp.
- Go to the camp at 85.7N 7.1W and pick up the note. It will tell you to look for a cave to the west.
- Follow the instructions and go to the Frozen Wight Lair portal at 85.3N 7.5W.
- Kill Frozen Wights to get a Door Key.
- Follow a down ramp in the middle of the first big room through to the other side where you will find a locked door. Use the key.
- You will continue to find a series of keys that unlock doors to allow you to proceed further into the dungeon.
- Doors are resistance 800 and are pickable also with high Lockpick and a Vagabond's Gift spell.
- There are 5 keys total, 4 to be used before the next step. See the Notes section for known drops.
- You will come to an area where you have to jump across to another passageway. If you don't have lockpick, find another key on the local Wights on the other side of the jump.
- Shortly after that you will come to a locked door, open it with the last key. You will fing an open room with a Frozen Wight High Acolyte. He drops 3 pieces (Wardley's Necklace, Wardley's Shirt, Wardley's Boots). Each person must pick up ONE of the items (and you can only pick up one)
- There is also a Large Tome on the desk with a 27 day timer that you can pick up. Take it to Zaikhal to be translated by Kuyiza bint Zayi the Translator.
- Then head to the Encampment near Neftet and give the translated Book to Sir Daeglan.
- Warning: Sir Daeglan does not return the Book, so if you intend to read it ensure you do so before handing it in.
- Return the items to Halvor.

It is unknown if the keys drop randomly, or if they are tied to certain creatures and locations throughout the dungeon. The following drops have been confirmed to have happened at least once:

- Door Key (Frozen Wight Lair 2) - on corpse of Frozen Wight Sorcerer near the grated door
- Door Key (Frozen Wight Lair 3) - on corpse of ??
- Door Key (Frozen Wight Lair 4) - on corpse of ??
- Door Key (Frozen Wight Lair 5) - on corpse of Frozen Wight Captain just after the jump
